Abacus Montessori was founded by Jayanthi Rajagopalan, who holds an International Montessori Diploma from the Montessori Centre in London, England. She has several years of teaching experience, including two years in London, England.
Jayanthi, also the principal of the school, has trained Montessori instructors for several years as a Master Teacher with the Canadian Montessori Teacher Education Institute. She has attended several workshops and seminars on the Montessori Method in Canada and abroad. She also conducts parent education seminars at Abacus Montessori.
All of the teachers and assistants hold a Montessori or an Early Childhood Education Diploma or a relevant certificate from a recognized institution. They are well experienced and bring in their own unique input to their program.
