The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
The school age and JK/SK component of this program is licensed to operate before and after school and on P.A. days and school holidays. |
The operator shall ensure that the submitted plan of action for scheduling, recording and monitoring that a fire drill has been conducted at least once a month is followed. Records of the monitoring and drills are to be available for ministry review. |
The licensed capacity is based on Toddler 1 (10), Toddler 2 (10), Toddler 3 (15), Preschool 1 (24), Preschool 2 (16), Preschool 3 (16, Dorset Room, JK/SK (20), Hawthorne Room, School Age (28) and Bronte Room School Age(30). |
An alternate capacity on the licence allows 30 School Age children in Dorset Room, 20 JK/SK children in Hawthorne Room and 20 JK/SK children in Bronte Room. |
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches which meet Canada’s Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre’s parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch is forgotten. |

Director approval has been granted for Kindergarten and School Age children to bring bagged lunches and or snacks. |
Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: Toddlers (15): 3 children or Toddlers (10): 2 children; Preschool (16):3 children, Kindergarten (20): 4 children and School Age (30): 6 children |
