Our Preschool is located within Burlington Dance Academy and our students enjoy the full use of our dance school facility in addition to three specialty rooms designed to enhance our Preschool learning programs.
Each child is assigned to a group and teacher for the full year, according to age and experience. Each teacher’s daily plans include interesting and challenging activities to teach young children in each of four developmental areas: language, fine and gross motor skills, social/emotional, and cognitive. The teachers rotate through each room with their own group of children. Students work on counting, pre-math, problem-solving, and reading with themed science activities available daily.

| The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
| This program is licensed to operate from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:30 or 9:00 am to 2:30 pm from September to June and P.A. days. |
| No one child may be in attendance for 6 hours or more in a period of 24 hours. |
| Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten. |
Director's Approval
| Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows; Preschool (24): 3 children and JK/SK (10): 2 children |
