LEF has been serving the former city of York in northwest Toronto for more than 30 years. Since 1978, we have developed from a youth theatre project into one of the leading community economic development organizations in Toronto, with 300 employees serving more than 10,000 people every year.

We pride ourselves in our range of programming, driven by the needs of our community. We offer employment services, skills training, language training, childcare services and supports for children and families, newcomer services, youth programs and community enterprises programs.

The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
The operator shall ensure that fixed playground equipment is not used by children until it is confirmed that the structures meet CSA standards and that all health and safety concerns have been eliminated.
The preschool licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 106 for 16 children.
The centre is approved to temporarily relocate their preschool capacity of 16 children from Room 106 to Room 207 and the school age capacity of 30 children from Room 107 to Room 315 for renovations for the period of June 26, 2015 to September 1, 2015 inclusive. During this time period, the centre will relocate within the school located at 315 Osler St, Toronto, Ontario, on a temporary basis. The operator shall advise the program advisor via email when the program returns to the licensed premises.
The kindergarten and the school age program are licensed to operate before and after school and full days on PA Days and school holidays.
The school age licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 107 for 30 children.
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 112 and the alternative space of Room 113 for 20 children in each.
