The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
The operator shall ensure that children under the age of 5 years do not use the playground equipment in the school yard as indicated on the user age label of the play structures.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch is forgotten.
The kindergarten and school age program are licensed to operate before and after school on full-day and on PA days and school holidays.
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 111 and the alternate space of Room 110.
The school age licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 127 and portable 6 and the alternate space of poratble 5, the library and the gym.
The operator shall provide written confirmation to the ministry that the two employees identified during the licence inspection have been immunized as recommended by the local medical officer of health by August 31, 2015.
All rooms as set out in the shared space agreement confirmation are approved for use by the child care program based on the licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.
Until August 31, 2015, the operator is licensed to provide care for 45 school age children and must meet the staff: child ratios and respect the maximum group sizes in Schedule 3 of Ontario Regulation 262.
As of August 31, 2015, the operator is licensed to provide care for 90 Primary/Junior School Age children and must meet the staff: child ratios and respect the maximum group sizes in Schedule 1 of Ontario

Director's Approval

Director's approval is granted for the use of resting mats with children 3.8 years of age and up.
Director's approval has been granted for junior and senior kindergarten children to bring bagged lunches.
Director approval is granted for mixed age group. Therefore 20% of 30 children (68 months to 12 years), maximum of 6 children, may be from the younger age group.
Director approval is granted for the use of the unfenced school yard by the JK/SK children provided the supervision plan is being followed at all times.
As of August 31, 2015, director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square meters of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
As of August 31, 2015, director approval is granted to allow mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of O. Reg. 137/15.
