Family Day recognizes the importance of family and community in child development. As a family centred child care organization, we work to strengthen the relationships between children, their families and their communities. Family Day understands that culture, diversity, community and public policy affect child and family development. We support our families, and recognize and respect parents as being the most important caregivers for each child. Parents and staff are partners in caring for children.

| The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
| The operator shall ensure that enhanced supervision is maintained on the north side of the playground due to the absence of a fence. |
| The fixed playground structures behind the child care and in public parks are not to be used unless there is sufficient surfacing which meets CSA standards under these structures, equipment must be age appropriate, ratios met or exceeded and safety checks conducted and recorded prior to each use. |
