Glen Bernard Camp (GBC)

Glen Bernard Camp provides a fun and caring experience for young women to develop self-confidence and independence. 

Campers participate in the following activities: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, boardsailing, theatre, rock climbing, high ropes, low ropes, mountain biking, horseback riding, trampoline, canoe trips, arts & crafts, tennis, archery, golf and more!

Glen Bernard is a leader in environmental education. Our significant commitment to teaching environmental sustainability is demonstrated by the use of solar energy, composting toilets, energy efficient lighting and a solar boat. Our earth education program and activities take place in state-of-the art, solar powered buildings which allow campers to interact and learn about sustainable technologies and our relationship with the natural world. We feel it is important to help young people understand our impact on the earth and to learn how to take action to use it wisely. Our slogan "live lightly" applies both to the atmosphere of fun and the commitment we share to care for the earth.
