Glen Cameron For Kids is a leading provider of quality child care services. The Centre provides a unique opportunity for children to develop skills in social, physical, emotional, cognitive, and creative areas of development. The Centre strives to meet the needs of each child by creating a nurturing environment, which fosters co-operation, mutual respect and responsibility amongst, staff, Cameron Public School and the community. Our hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday each day, with the exception of Statutory Holidays. We offer programs that meet the diverse needs of children, ranging in age from 2½ to 12 years.
Glen Cameron For Kids is a non-profit community based Child Care Centre, conveniently located in Cameron Public School. Glen Cameron For Kids has been in operation since 1985. We have the exclusive use of two large classrooms, and two other rooms that are shared with the school. We also have access to the gymnasium and Cameron's Resource Centre. Our playground for the younger children is located in a fenced area outside the child care doors, while our school age children have the use of Cameron's adventure playground. We are fortunate to be within close proximity to public transportation, parks and libraries.
