Hyland Centre Child Care is a non-profit, licensed child care centre located in Hyland Heights Elementary School at 200 Fourth Avenue Shelburne Ontario. Hyland Centre has been in operation since 1989. We are in the business of helping children grow!
Hyland Centre Child Care is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and licensed by the Ministry of Education. We are dedicated to supporting and strengthening family life and the well being of all children. We provide a positive, safe reliable environment that aims to enhance each child's individual needs throughout development.
Hyland Centre Child Care is the Third Party Operator of Extended Day programs at Hyland Heights Elementary School. As well, we offer both full time and part time care for children aged 15 months to school age. Please contact us today to see how we can help with your child care needs.

The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
| The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of the 137, and the alternate space of the Room(s) 140, 143, Kinderpack 402 A, Library or Gym. |
| The school age licensed capacity is based on the use of the music room 150, and the alternate space of the Kinderpack 402 B (up to 26 children),Library, Gym or Resource room 301. |
| The kindergarten and/or school age program are licensed to operate before- and after- school and full-day on PA days and school holidays. |
Director's Approval
| Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: Toddlers (15): 3 children, Preschool (16): 3 children, Kindergarten (20): 4 children and School Age (30) 6 children. |
