The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
The licensee shall submit an up-to-date playground injury log to the program advisor on a monthly basis for the period July 2015 to October 2015.
The licensee shall implement the internal monitoring procedure (as submitted to the ministry in the licensee's response) for ensuring all staff/students/volunteers have reviewed all children's anaphylaxis plans, and have received training on emergency procedures, prior to working/providing care in the program and at least annually thereafter.
The licensee shall implement the monitoring review process for attendance recording (as outlined in the licensee's response to the ministry).
The licensee shall confirm the up-to-date immunization record for the one child has been received by June 30, 2015.
The licensee may permit older children to be grouped with the next younger age group as long as the lower staffing ratio and group size are maintained when the 20% mix of younger children is exceeded, and as long as programming is developmentally appropriate for both age groups.
No child shall use the playground structure until the operator receives a third party certified playground safety inspector's written verification the surfacing and permanent play structure meet CSA standards. The inspector's written confirmation of CSA compliance must be submitted to the ministry prior to the use of the permanent play structure.
The licensee shall submit written verification (i.e., a sign-off sheet) by November 30, 2015 confirming all staff/students/volunteers have reviewed the updated policies and procedures that were submitted to the ministry on October 9, 2015.
The kindergarten and primary/junior school age programs are licensed to operate before- and after- school and full-day on PA days and school holidays.
The gym may be utilized by the program as long as the maximum group sizes are not exceeded and children under 30 months of age are separated from children over 30 months of age.
The Kids' Club room (room 8) is licensed for use by a group of 10 toddlers with an alternate capacity of 10 primary/junior school age children. The alternate capacity is approved based on the licensee's plan reviewed during the licensing inspection.
Room 6 is licensed for use by a group of 15 primary/junior school age children.
Rooms 2 and 7 are each licensed for use by a group of 16 preschool children with alternate capacities of 15 toddler children. The alternate capacities are approved based on the licensee's plan reviewed during the licensing inspection.
Room 1 is licensed for use by a group of 16 preschool children.
Room 4 is licensed for use by a group of 20 kindergarten children.
Room 3 is licensed for use by a group of 10 toddler children.
The infant room (room 5) is licensed for use by a group of 10 infant children.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet the recommendations set out in the Health Canada documents “Eating Well with Canada’s Food Guide” OR “Eating Well with Canada’s Food Guide – First Nations, Inuit and Métis”, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre’s parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.
The licensee shall email the program advisor confirming CCLS has been updated with the required information on officers and directors of the corporation by July 15, 2015.

Director's Approval

Director approval is granted for kindergarten and primary/junior school age children to bring bagged lunches and/or snacks.
Director approval is granted to allow mixed age grouping pursuant to ss.8(2) and (3) of O.Reg. 137/15.
