YMCA Child Care supports the healthy growth and development of children and promotes a lifelong appreciation for learning. Our YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum prepares our youngest children for academic success in the areas of language and literacy, math, science and technology and the arts. Our before and after school programs provide school-age children with a safe, supervised and active experience that fosters social skills and develops a sense of community.

| The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
| The operator shall ensure that the written plan for the supervision of children moving between the child care centre and the playground is followed at all times. |
| The operator shall ensure that the written plan for reporting serious occurrences within 24 hours is followed. A written record of the review and monitoring of serious occurrence reporting by the operator or designate is to be retained on premise and available for Ministry review. |

Director's Approval
| Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: Toddler (8): 1 child and Preschool (16): 3 children. |
