CR Soccer is a Canadian Soccer Club based in several locations in Ontario. It was also the first soccer development program in Canada, going back to 1986. The founder of CR Soccer is Carlos Rivas who is a veteran of professional soccer, which includes being a finalist in the Copa America in 1979 and then reaching the pinnacle of his soccer career when he played in the 1982 World Cup for Chile. Now residing in Canada, Carlos together with his son Carlo Rivas Jr. who is also a veteran of professional soccer are applying their knowledge and experience to teach young athletes.
Carlos & Carlo Jr.’s personal soccer career has allowed them to create immeasurable teaching tactics and creative training sessions that bring each athlete to their maximum athletic potential. Many CR Soccer students have gone on to play professional soccer and even more have received scholarships to the United States.CR Soccer is known to travel all around the world to compete in world-class tournaments and games. The soccer club strongly believes that every athlete in Canada should gain international soccer exposure and experience soccer at an elite level. In the past, CR Soccer has travelled to Mexico, Sweden, USA, El Salvador, Chile, Italy, Spain and most recently Manchester, England.
