Pine Ridge Nursery School Incorporated

Pine Ridge Nursery School opened in October 1994. Since its inception, we have enrolled hundreds of families whose preschool children have had the opportunity to participate in our program where we believe that learning happens while children are playing and having fun.

We pride ourselves in offering two distinct programs. Both age appropriate, theme oriented and based in the cognitive theory of child development.

In recent years, we have integrated many children with special needs into our classes. We work in co-operation with the various agencies and organizations that our preschoolers are involved with. We offer support, encouragement and direction to all of our families however possible.

It is our goal to be an extension of the family, and to be a resource to the entire family in the early years of their child's life.

Pine Ridge Nursery School is a proud member of our community. We have grown and changed over the years thus reflecting our community's needs. This year we are planning a campaign to collect personal care items, toiletries, etc…in support of Bethesda House, our local shelter for women and children. An initiative near and dear to us is the Scholastic Book Program. As a result of purchases made by parents and staff over the past years, we have been able to donate hundreds of dollars in books to the cancer floor at the Hospital for Sick Children.
