The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
The Toddler Capacity is based on the use of Room 3(10 children)and Room 5(15 children). |
Within the licensed capacity, 54 spaces are operated as an unlicensed summer camp program during July and August 2015. Room 1-Preschool 2 for 24 children, Room 8-Kindergarten for 10 children and Room 2 - Senior Montessori for 20 children. |
The operator shall ensure that monitoring of medication administration is conducted weekly for medication on premise; a written consent for the administration of medication including a schedule that sets out the time the drug is to be administered and the amount to be administered has been completed by a parent and a written record is completed following the administration of the medication. A written record to confirm that weekly monitoring was completed, by whom and any action taken with copies of the completed medication forms are to be available on site for ministry review for the duration of the licence. |
The preschool capacity is based on the used of Room 6-Preschool 1 (24 children), Room 1-Preschool 2 (24 children),Room 8-Kindergarten (10 children),Room 2-Senior Montessori(20 children). |
The operator is to develop and maintain a daily safety inspection log for the Infant program room and sleep room. The log shall include a daily review of play material and furnishings and any issues within the program room and sleep room. The written log is to include who completed the daily inspection, all safety items, a record of action taken, plan of action if applicable and date completed. A written record is to be retained on premise and available for Ministry review for the duration of the licence. |
The infant capacity is based on the use of Room 7 (9 children). |
Director's Approval
Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows; Toddlers (15): 3 Children, Preschool (24): 3 Children, and Kindergarten (20): 4 Children. |
