The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
Within the existing capacity of the child care, the operator may provide a program for 15 Toddler children in the Preschool room (Childcare 1). The operator is to submit to the Ministry a written transition plan including verification of staffing, play materials and furnishings and program prior to the change of age group occurring. |
The operator shall ensure that the detailed written plan pertaining to reducing the square footage in Room 101 West during July and August to 516.29 square feet is followed. |
Within the licensed capacity of 56 preschool children; Room 101 West will be licensed for 16 preschool children during July and August only. |

Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten. |
The operator shall monitor all medication on premise, ensuring that medication is inaccessible to the children at all times is completed daily. A written record of the monitoring are to be available on site for ministry review. |
The preschool capacity is based on the use of Preschool Childcare 1 (16 children) and Preschool Childcare 2 (24 children). |

The toddler and preschool programs have relocated to Room 100 North and 100 South for the period of June 29, 2015 to August 28, 2015 inclusive due to playground renovations. The operator shall advise the program advisor in writing when the program returns to the licensed rooms. |
The operator is to develop and implement a plan for staff professional development and training, including supervision, staff and child interactions for all staff. The operator is to ensure plan is completed by April 1, 2015 and retain documentation on premise signed by all staff to show they have completed professional development training. |
Director's Approval
Director's approval has been granted for school age children to bring bagged lunches. |
Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: Toddler (15): 3 children, Preschool (16): 3 children, JK / SK (20): 4 children and School Age (30): 6 children. |
