The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. The licensee shall ensure that the total licensed capacity is not exceeded at any time.
The kindergarten and primary/junior school age program are licensed to operate before- and after- school and full-day on PA days and school holidays.
All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.
Preschool 1 is licenced for use by a group of 24 preschool children.
Preschool 2 is licenced for use by a group of 16 preschool children OR by a group of 15 toddler children.
Room 113 is licenced for use by a group of 15 primary/junior school age children.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet the recommendations set out in the Health Canada documents “Eating Well with Canada’s Food Guide”, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre’s parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.
This program is licensed to operate one room with 16 preschool children (31 months – 5 years) with an alternate capacity of 15 toddler children (18 – 30 months). The alternate age groups have been approved based on the operator’s plan reviewed during the licensing inspection.
The operator shall notify the ministry prior to implementing an alternate age group and submit documentation to show how staffing and program requirements will be met.

Director's Approval

Director approval is granted to allow mixed age grouping pursuant to ss.8(2) and (3) of O.Reg. 137/15.
Director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
Director approval is granted for kindergarten, primary/junior school age children to bring bagged lunches and snacks.
