Streetsville Children's Centre and Academy has been providing a program in Mississauga to students 12 months to Grade 3 for 22 years.
We a program that is both educational and enjoyable. We believe that children need a safe and caring environment in which to explore ideas and develop skills to help them grow into secure successful young people. We are privately owned and licensed by the Ministry.

| The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. The licensee shall ensure that the total licensed capacity is not exceeded at any time. |
| The licensee shall submit written confirmation to the Ministry by May 27, 2016 that full compliance has been achieved for all items identified as “in progress” on the Summary of Child Care Centre Licensing Requirements and Recommendations report. |
| The licensee is to ensure that the written staffing plan for the Infant - defined in the program statement as the Junior Toddler room is followed. An additional staff person is to be available during hours of operation to assist with food preparation and diapering. |
| The licensee is to ensure that no more than 15 children are on the toddler playground and 18 children are on the preschool playground at any time. |
| The licensee is to ensure that when four (4) or more children between the ages of 18 - 30 months of age are in attendance in NS-3 Room (preschool), the maximum group size is 15, and staffing ratio is 1:5. |
| The licensee is to adhere to requirements of the Peel Health Department regarding food preparation and diapering in the Junior Toddler room. Food preparation or diapering to occur within the approved area and not within the Junior Toddler room. |
