Sunshine Nursery School is fully licensed by the Ministry. Sunshine has been a proud member of the Ajax community since 1972. We have a wide selection of toys and activities used to stimulate all aspects of your child's development. Sunshine Nursery is staffed by mature, dedicated and caring teachers, who strive to make you and your child's experience at our school a memorable one!
About Summer Program
This program has a "camp" atmosphere, with arts & crafts, games and outdoor activities. There will be 2 sessions offered in July, and 2 offered in August. Each session operates for 3 mornings a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.)
Our program begins indooors with centres relating to our weekly theme, including a supervised craft table. We then move outdoors (weather permitting) where there are riding toys, balls, bubbles, water play, sand play and other play centres.
We have story time outside, followed by a seasonal snack. We then move indoors for some songs before the children are picked up.
