The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of Rooms 113 and 110 for 20 JK/SK children in each room and the alternate space of Rooms 111 and 112 for 20 JK/SK children in each room. |
Within the license capacity of 161 only 31 spaces may be used for 6 hours or more in a period of 24 hours. |
The school age and kindergarten components of this program are licensed to operate before and after school and on P.A. days and school holidays. |

Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten. |
The operator is to submit a written a professional learning plan by August 7, 2015 that includes third party professional development training for all staff including the supervisor and director related to supervision of children, child guidance and programming, communication and team building and a review of the school age learning environment. Professional development training to be completed on or before September 11, 2015 and written verification is to be submitted to the Ministry. |
The operator is to submit a revised washroom supervision policy for school age children to the Ministry on or before August 7, 2015. The revised washroom supervision policy is to include procedures to be followed and the process for review of the policy with children and parents. |
The operator is to submit a revised supervision and missing child policy to the Ministry on or before August 7, 2015. The revised supervision and missing child policy must include: •the timeframe for reporting a missing child to the police, to the parents of the missing child, and to the Ministry; •each person’s roles and responsibilities for responding to a missing child incident; •communication plan and strategies when responding to a missing child incident; and, •review process following a missing child incident. |

Director's Approval
Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s.55 (2) of 0 Reg.262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows; (15) toddlers:3 children, Preschool (16) children: 3 children, JK/SK (20): 4 children and School Age (15): 3 children. |
