Today’s Family Early Learning and Child Care is a non-profit, charitable agency serving more than 4000 children (and their parents and caregivers) in Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand and Norfolk  and surrounding areas.

We offer a wide range of early learning and child care programs as well as parental support programs to help you and your child every step of the way. It’s professional, caring support that makes a real difference in the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children.

The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
The operator must obtain a statement from the recreational centre that confirms that the pool is locked when a lifeguard is not present. This needs to be provided to the program advisor by December 20, 2014.
The operator's plan for the proper staff/child ratios must be followed at all times. A copy of all attendance records for children must include the staff member's that were present for each work shift. These records are to be kept on the premises for review by the program advisor.
The operators must ensure that the pool on the premises is locked when a lifeguard is not on duty.
The operator must follow the safety plan developed by the operator for a pool that is on site.
This program operates from September to June.
If the community park is used the operator shall ensure that fixed playground equipment is not used by children until it is confirmed that the structures meet CSA standards and that all health and safety concerns have been eliminated.
The school age program are licensed to operate before- and after- school and full-day on PA days and school holidays.

Director's Approval

Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: School Age (30): 6 children.
Director approval has been granted for school age children to bring bagged lunches for school closure days.
