CAMP OVERVIEW
The University of Toronto Scarborough presents Camp UTSC, a summer day camp for children ages 6-12 that provides the option of participating in either the tennis or recreation program in the mornings followed by a mini-University experience in the afternoon through hourly sessions of computers, science, arts and crafts, dance and dramatic theatre. In addition, the camp offers a comprehensive Leadership certificate program for teens (13-16yrs) comprised of character-building workshops, and off-campus team based recreational excursions.
Camp Features
- Nut-free summer day camp that operates from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Doors open @8:30am!
- Progressive academic anti-bullying environment with readily available onsite camp police services
- Low camper-to-staff ratio with age appropriate programming in tennis, recreation, arts and sciences
- Weekly registered online lunch menu that provides vegetarian options & accommodates food allergies
- CPR-B & First Aid trained university student camp counsellors with extensive day camp experience
- User-friendly 24-hour access to online camp registration available Monday through Sunday
- Flexible 1-week camp registration throughout duration of camp & 8wk multi-registration incentive
- Enhanced Leadership program: Leaders in Training I & II for ages 13-14 and 15-16 respectively
- Free camp hat provided to registered campers 6-12 & Leadership teens on first day of camp session
Hours of Operation
- Camp hours: 9am-4pm Monday to Friday
- Dropoff: 8:30am
- Standard Pickup: 4:15-4:30pm
- Post camp care: 4:30-6:00pm
