Waterview is a non-profit charitable organization, operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. We were first established as Gordon Street Children's Cottage Child Care Centre located on the grounds of Whitby Mental Health Centre in April 1988.
Due to Government cutbacks, we had to relocate and with a lot of hard work and dedication, the staff, parents, and community volunteers constructed a new centre, which opened on March 3 1997 under the name, Waterview Child Care Centre.
We take pride in continuing to be able to offer the best quality childcare for over 75 families in Durham Region.
