The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
The JK/SK licensed capacity is based on the use of the Community Room and the alternate space of the Play Centre. The School Age licensed capacity is based on the use of the Gymnasium and the alternate space of the Play Centre.
The climbing wall/structure in the Play Centre is not approved for use until verification of CSA compliance is submitted to the Ministry Program Advisor.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches/snacks, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.

Director's Approval

Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can only be implemented in 1 group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: JK/SK (10): 2 children; School Age (30): 6 children. Approval has been granted for when more than 20% of the group is from the younger age group the group size and staff ratio for the younger group will be used.
Director's approval has been granted for bag lunches and snacks.
Director's approval has been given for this program to operate on all school closure days excluding the summer holiday period.
