About Summer Camp (ages 2.5 - 6)
Children are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of activities, which include story time, games, art & crafts, cooking, music, drama, sports, scientific exploration, and lots of hands-on activities. Bi-weekly outings may be scheduled to local attractions, including the library, fire station, farm, and parks, as well as other local educational attractions. Information and permission forms will be sent home prior to the trips. Detail of daily activities will be posted at the school prior to each session during the summer.

Terms and Conditions
The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. The licensee shall ensure that the total licensed capacity is not exceeded at any time. |
The red Casa room is licensed for 11 children, based on an occupancy limit placed on the room by Toronto Fire Services. |
The playground is approved for 25 children. |
The gymnasium in the church may be used occassionally for gross motor activities. |
The licensee may use the Nursery room with direct adult supervision during the rest period for those children who require a rest on cots. |
The preschool licensed capacity is based on the use of Casa Green for 24 children, Casa Yellow for 6 children and Casa Red for 11 children, 31 months to 5 years of age. |
The licensee shall submit written confirmation to the Ministry by May 27, 2016 that full compliance has been achieved for all items identified as “in progress” on the Summary of Child Care Centre Licensing Requirements and Recommendations report The licensee shall submit written confirmation to the Ministry by September 1, 2016 that the written plan for completion of valid certification in standard first aid including infant and child CPR has been completed. |
