After-School Clubs are programs for kids of varying age groups (mostly around 6-12) that run every week at Toronto Public Library and inspire kids to create, meet new friends and have fun. Even better? Every district branch has one, and they're FREE. Kids explore a huge range of topics, including building with Lego, maker projects, video games and even magic!
Quality after-school programs are not only fun, but they help children develop cognitive thinking, emotional well-being, social skills and physical health, and there is a growing link between positive recreation experiences and resiliency in children.
To join an After-School Club at the library, check with the branch to confirm if you can drop-in, or if registration is required. Parents are welcome to stay and participate - you'll likely have as much fun (if not more) as your kids!

Hang out at the S. Walter Stewart Library after school. Bring your friends or make some new ones. We have video games, board games, Lego, Bean Bag Toss, and lots of awesome contests every week. For children ages 6-12. No registration is required. Drop in to our auditorium and check it out!
