Today’s Family Early Learning and Child Care is a non-profit, charitable agency serving more than 4000 children (and their parents and caregivers) in Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand and Norfolk and surrounding areas.

| The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
| All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The licensee is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request. |
| The licensee shall ensure that the written policy for reporting serious occurrences within 24 hours is followed. This includes the process for notification to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board Chair. A written record of the review and monitoring of serious occurrence reporting by the licnesee or designate is to be retained on premise and available for Ministry review for the duration of the license. |
| The licensee shall ensure that the written action plan which includes increased oversight and on-site involvement by the operator is followed. Written evidence to verify the plan is followed is to be retained and available for review by ministry staff for the duration of the licence. |
| The kindergarten and/or school age program are licensed to operate before and after school and full-day on PA days and school holidays from September to June. |
Director's Approval
| Director’s Approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. |
| Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15. |
