Bambi’s Castle is licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and our standards meet or exceed the requirements under the Day Nurseries Act. The centre is routinely inspected by the local Health Unit, the Fire Department and the program advisors with the MCYS. We have been serving the Timmins area since 1972.
We have spacious bright rooms with toys and equipment that meet the unique needs of the age groups it is intended for. See our programs page for more information and photos. Our location also consists of 3 separate outdoor play areas each designed to accommodate the various developmental needs of the of the children we serve. We are centrally located in the North End of Timmins. Public Transit is located on the corner of Pine St N and Brousseau.
Our programs are routinely evaluated to ensure quality using the Early Childhood Developmental Rating Scales (ECERS) as well as the Infant Toddler Developmental Rating Scales (ITERS).

The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
| The annual playground inspection has not been completed for 2014. The operator confirmed that an annual comprehensive playground inspection by a certified playground inspector has been scheduled for June 1, 2015. A copy of the inspection report shall be submitted to the Ministry prior to licence expiry. No child shall use the playground structure until the third pary certified inspector's written verification the surfacing and permanent play structure meet CSA standards. The inspector's written confirmation of CSA compliance must be submitted to the ministry prior to the use of the permanent play structure. |
