The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten. |
The kindergarten and school age program are licensed to operate before and after school and full-day on PA days and school holidays. |
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of Rooms 107 and 108 and the alternate space of Rooms 110, 111 and the library. |
The school age licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 102 and the alternate space of Room 104,105 and the gym. |
The operator shall ensure that children under the age of 5 years do not use the playground equipment in the school yard as indicated on the user age label of the play structures. |
The operator shall provide written confirmation to the ministry from the College of Early Childhood Educator's that the staff identified during the licencing inspection has registered with the college by August 14, 2015. |

Director's Approval
Director's approval for a mixed age group for children 68 months to 12 years. Therefore, 20% of 30 children, maximum 6 children, may be from the younger age group. |
Director approval has been granted for JK/SK and school age children to bring bag lunches and/or snacks. |
Director approval is granted for the use of the unfenced school yard by the JK/SK children provided the playground supervision guidelines are being followed at all times. |
