The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
Upon completion of repairs to the playground structure in the school yard and rototilling of the sand in all areas with play structures, the operator shall submit a third party certified playground inspector's written confirmation that all safety concerns have been addressed and that the playground is in compliance with CSA standards. Until such time, the equipment with noted A and/or B Hazards cannot be used.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.
The kindergarten and school age program are licensed to operate before and after school and full-day on PS days and school holidays.
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the JK/SK Childcare Centre Purpose Built Room and Room 153 with the alternate space of Gym 1 and Gym 2
The school age licensed capacity is based on the school age Childcare Centre Purpose Built Room and Rooms 169 and 171 with the alternate space of Gym 1 and Gym 2 and room 151
Until August 31, 2015, the operator is licensed to provide care for 60 school age children and must meet the staff: child ratios and respect the maximum group sizes in Schedule 3 of Ontario Regulation 262.

All rooms as set out in the shared space agreement confirmation are approved for use by the child care program based on the licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.

Director's Approval

Director's approval for a mixed age group. Therefore, 20% of 30 children, 68 months to 12 years of age, maximum 6 children, may be from the younger age group.
Director's approval for children 44 months to 67 months of age, to rest on sheet covered mats.
Director approval is granted for junior and senior kindergarten children as well as school age children to bring bagged lunches and/or snacks.
As of August 31, 2015, director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square meters of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
As of August 31, 2015, director approval is granted to allow mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of O. Reg. 137/15.
