The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada’s Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches/snacks, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre’s parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.
All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The licensee is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation, jointly signed by the licensee and school board representative. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.
The infant licensed capacity is based on the use of the Infant Room (Room 136) for 6 children.
The toddler licensed capacity is based on the use of the Toddler Room (Room 137) for 15 children.
The preschool licensed capacity is based on the use of the Preschool Room (Room 138) for 16 children.
The licensee shall submit the fire safety plan to the ministry once it has been approved by the local Fire Department.
The licensee shall submit written confirmation of final Health approval to the Ministry by November 27, 2015, per preliminary confirmation of compliance on Health Inspection letter dated October 13, 2015.
The licensee shall submit written confirmation to the Ministry once the additional toddler cots have arrived at the program. The licensee shall ensure there are no more than 10 toddlers on-site until these additional cots arrive.

Director's Approval

Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
Director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
Director approval has been granted for children aged 3.8 years of age and up to bring bagged lunches.
