The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
The operator to monitor to confirm that the seasonal playground inspections have been conducted seasonally and that the operator's record of monitoring is available to ministry staff for review at all times. |
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten. |
The school age licensed capacity is based on the dedicated use of Child Care (A), Child Care (B) and Child Care (C) and the shared space of Gym (1), Gym (2) and the learning commons and the alternate space of Rooms 166, 175, 176, 177, 180, 181 183 and the Junior Pod. |
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of Rooms 140, 145 and 148 and the alternate space of Rooms 184, 187, 190, 191, 192, 193 and the Primary Pod. |
The kindergarten and school age program are licensed to operate before and after school and full-day on PA days and school holidays. |
No child shall use the playground structure until the operator receives a third party certified playground safety inspector’s written verification the surfacing and permanent play structure meet CSA standards. The inspector’s written confirmation of CSA compliance must be submitted to the ministry prior to the use of the permanent play structure. |
The centre is closed for renovations as a new roof is being installed at the school. The centre is closed for the period of June 29, 2015 to September 4, 2015 inclusive. During this time period, the centre will relocate to St. Francis of Assisi Child Care Centre, 795B Watters Road, Orleans, On K4A 2T2. The operator shall advise the program advisor in writing when the program returns to the licensed premises. |
