The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada's Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre's parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.
As of August 31, 2015, the licensee is licensed to provide care for 2 groups of 26 Kindergarten children and must meet the staff: child ratios identified in Schedule 1 of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
Before changes are made to shared space and/or the total capacity for kindergarten and/or school-age children, the operator shall ensure that an up to date shared space confirmation document that is signed by the operator and a school board representative is available on site for Ministry review.
All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request
As of August 31, 2015, the licensee is licensed to provide care for 2 groups of 30 School Age children and must meet the staff: child ratios identified in Schedule 1 of Ontario Regulation 137/15.

Director's Approval

As of August 31, 2015, director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
As of August 31, 2015, Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
Director's approval is granted for the Toddler and Preschool group to share the playground area. Outdoor play must be scheduled at different times and a record is to be maintained recording the time spent outdoors for each group.
Director's approval is granted in accordance with S 22(b.1) for a playground without fencing for the JK/SK children. Playground supervision of children to be in accordance to agency policy.
Director's approval is granted for the JK/SK and School Age children to bring bagged lunches and or snacks.
