The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
The operator is to ensure that the transition policy submitted to the Ministry for children transitioning to a new age group between Burloak and Burloak 2 is followed. A copy of the child's transition schedule and parental consent is to be available for Ministry review at all times for the duration of the licence. |
Within the existing capacity of the child care, the operator may provide a program for 15 school aged children on PA days and School holidays in the preschool (2) room when the enrolment allows. The operator is to submit written verification of the transition plan to the Ministry prior to the change of age group occurring, including verification of staffing, programming, play materials and furnishings. |
The operator to develop and maintain a daily maintenance and safety inspection log. The log shall include a daily review of the storage of cleaning materials, other hazardous substances and any maintenance issues in all areas of the child care centre and outdoor playground area. The written log is to include who completed the daily inspection, all maintenance and safety items, a record of action taken, plan of action if applicable and date completed. A written record is to be retained on premise and available for Ministry review. |
Director's Approval
Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: Toddlers (15): 3 children, Preschool (16): 3 children. |
