The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
The operator shall ensure that this child care program does not begin operating before August 31, 2015 when the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 and its regulations are in effect. |
As of August 31, 2015, the operator is licensed to provide care for 2 groups of 26 Kindergarten, and 2 groups of 23 Primary/Junior School Age and must meet the staff: child ratios identified in Schedule 1 of Ontario Regulation 137/15. |
All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request |
Within 30 days of commencing operation the operator shall ensure that a set of drinking water samples are taken and tested and submit a Laboratory Services Notification (LSN) form to the MOE. The operator shall provide proof of submission to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Education. |
The operator shall submit written confirmation from the principal or designate that the entire building and/or specific rooms have been approved by the school board's health and safety officials as ready to open on or before September 3rd 2015. |
The operator shall submit to the ministry written verification of the Health Department’s post opening inspection report on or before September 11, 2015. |

Director's Approval
As of August 31, 2015, Director's Approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. |
As of August 31st, 2015 Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15. |
