The Centre has been licensed to provide care for children between the ages of 18 months to 12 years, Monday to Friday during the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  We require that all children be fully toilet trained before they can be admitted into the Centre. Children with special needs can be accommodated.

The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
Room 112 is licensed for a group of 20 children 44 months of age or over and up to and including 67 months of age until August 31, 2015 when the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect. Once the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect, Room 112 is licensed for a group of 26 Kindergarten children.
Room 113 is licensed for a group of 25 children 68 months of age or over as of August 31 of the year and up to and including 12 years of age until August 31, 2015 when the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect. Once the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect, Room 113 is licensed for a group of 30 Primary/Junior school age children.
All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.
Room 201 is licensed for a group of 25 children 68 months of age or over as of August 31 of the year and up to and including 12 years of age until August 31, 2015 when the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect. Once the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect, Room 201 is licensed for a group of 30 Primary/Junior school age children.
Room 202 is licensed for a group of 25 children 68 months of age or over as of August 31 of the year and up to and including 12 years of age until August 31, 2015 when the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect. Once the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect, Room 202 is licensed for a group of 30 Primary/Junior school age children.
Before changes are made to shared space and/or the total capacity for kindergarten and/or school-age children, the operator shall ensure that an up to date shared space confirmation document that is signed by the operator and a school board representative is available on site for Ministry review.

Once the Child Care and Early Years Act and regulations come into effect, director approval is granted for the use of a room or area with less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group as set out in the shared space confirmation.
As of August 31, 2015, Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
