Terms and Conditions
The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. |
The operator shall ensure that the written action plan which includes increased oversight and on-site involvement by the operator is followed. Written evidence to verify the plan is followed is to be retained and available for review by ministry staff for the duration of the licence. |
The operator to develop and implement a monitoring plan for the review of the individual plans for a child with anaphylaxis and emergency procedures with all staff, students and volunteers. A written record of the monitoring is to be retained on premise and available for ministry review. |
The operator is to maintain a daily maintenance and safety inspection log. The log shall include a daily review of the storage of cleaning materials, other hazardous substances and any maintenance issues within all areas of the child care centre and outdoor playground area. The written log is to include who completed the daily inspection, all maintenance and safety items, a record of action taken, plan of action if applicable and date completed. A written record is to be retained on premise and available for Ministry review. |
The operator shall follow the submitted plan for staff professional development and training to be done by a third party community agency that includes child supervision, staff and child interactions, staff communication skills and team building and show how it will be followed and completed within the term of the licence. The operator is to retain documentation on premise signed by all staff to show they have completed the professional development training within the term of the licence. |
The infant licensed capacity is based on the Infant 1 (10); Infant 2 (10); Infant 3 (10) and Infant 4 (10) infant children. |
The toddler licensed capacity is based on the Toddler 1 (15); Toddler 2 (15); Toddler 3 (15); Toddler 4 (15) and Toddler 5 (15) toddler children. |

Director's Approval
Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: Toddlers (15): 3 children; Preschool (24): 4 children; School Age (20): 4 children. |
