At Soufriere Kids Development Bilingual Child Care Centre we offer a French Immersion curriculum base within all classrooms which includes art, craft, music, daily outdoor play, science, phonics program, field trips and summer camp programs. A prior knowledge of French is not required.
Soufriere Kid’s Development Child Care Centre prides itself on providing high-quality education and care in a warm, nurturing environment. We understand that choosing the right center to fit a child’s needs is an important decision, and we strive to meet the expectations of every family we serve.
Soufriere Kid’s Development Child Care Centre programs are carefully researched and thoughtfully taught, and we approach every day with a sense imagination, innovation, and fun to help young children learn comfortably and confidently. Every curriculum includes a variety of interesting and inspiring activities to stimulate early brain development with a focus on creative play. We encourage a love of learning through working and playing with others. Our children have fun while they learn just another way we make sure children get the most out of their experiences at school.
At Soufriere Kid’s Development Child Care Centre, our beautiful and modern facilities provide each child with the ability to learn and grow physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally. Our full-time programs, a French and English curriculum that provides plenty of hands-on learning and high quality teachers prepare the children in our schools for elementary school and for life-long learning.
Our facility has four large class rooms, and an outdoor play area. The children in our centre are grouped together according to their ages as of September 1 each year. Children between the ages of 12 months and 2 years old discover new things in the kiwi, while children 2 to 3 years old are in the Pomme (apple) Room. Children between 3 and 4 years old play together in the Fig Room, and the older kids, those between 4 and 5, spend their days learning and preparing for school in the Raisin (Grape) Room. Each year the children move up the colors until they graduate and move on to kindergarten.
