Frank’s Swim School is Toronto’s oldest privately operated family run swim school.  Frank’s has been in continuous operation by the Liebmann family since 1968.

Programs

Swimming programs are offered in conjunction with the public school calendar.  There are four sessions: 

  • Fall (mid Sept – mid Dec)
  • Winter (Jan - Mar)
  • Spring (Mar – mid Jun)
  • Summer (Jul – Aug)

Programs include: 

  • Parent and Tot classes
  • Red Cross Assistant Instructor & Instructor program
  • Canadian Lifesaving Society SWIM Program
  • Lifesaving and Lifeguarding programs (NLS) and Instructor courses: First Aid and CPR courses are included with the Lifeguard certification.
  • Non-certification classes and coaching are offered for students interested in competitive swimming.
  • Private lessons are available at our facility or at clients’ homes. 
  • private SCUBA courses for groups of 4-6 students.

Our exclusive, flagship pool. on Kodiak Crescent Designed by Frank Liebmann himself. 

This unique pool was purpose-built to aid in the instruction of new swimmers. It is 5" in depth and maintains a water temperature of 92 degrees. Large terraced steps run the entire length of the pool, starting at a depth of just a few inches, allowing each child, whether at the sitting, crawling or walking stage to find a comfortable, non-threatening place within the water. All Kodiak Pool instructors have been given additional training specific for teaching infant and novice swimmers.

From the intersection of Sheppard Ave. West and Allen Road, turn to Sheppard West, pass the Esso Station, turn right at the 2nd Kodiak Cr. We are the second plaza on your right on the corner of Kodiak Cr. and Whitehorse Rd. Enter from Kodiak Cr.
