Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Office is a community based multicultural, multi-service agency providing community-based services to residents of Thorncliffe Park and surrounding communities.

Program / Service Overview

Family and Child Services

  • Ontario Early Years Centre (lead agency with four satellites across the Don Valley West Riding
    • Drop In: 0-6 Years - Parents, caregivers and children meet and play in an early learning environment. The program includes arts and crafts, sensory play, dramatic play, songs and story time. Free
    • Infant Group: 0 – 18 Months - This program focuses on early development, nutrition, health and play. Older siblings are welcome. Occasional guest speakers. Free.
  • Violence Against Women Program with violence prevention and transitional housing support council ling service 
  • Homework Club: FREE for children 7-12 years old, Monday to Friday during school year,  one-on-one to support in math, English and French, and more
  • Mental Health Support Program
  • Multicultural Women's Group
  • English Conversation Group
  • School Readiness Program: an intensive 5-day and FREE program for parents and children who will be starting school in September
  • Children with Special Needs: FREE programs for children aged 0-6 years
    • Growing Together: 8 weeks for parents and children who are experiencing delays in their development
    • Over the Rainbow: 8 weekly sessions; a creative play group for children using music, art, drama and story-telling to explore feelings and behaviours. Sessions are facilitated by an accredited Play Therapist. Parents discuss topics in a supportive group environment and with staff.

Girls Only Summer Camp

This Is  A Unique Girls Only Summer Camp For Ages 9-14 Years Old, Starting July 6th, 2015.

It Will Be Held In Two Sessions

  • Session One:  July 6 to July 23
  • Session Two July 27 to August 13

Monday to Thursday 10:00am to 3:00pm
