The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. The licensee shall ensure that the total licensed capacity is not exceeded at any time.
This program is approved for summer camp in July and August and within the school age capacity.
The kindergarten and/or school age program are licensed to operate before- and after- school and full-day on PA days and school holidays.
All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group. The operator is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation, jointly signed by the operator and school board representative. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.
Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches which meet Canada’s Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The licensee shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre’s parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch is forgotten.
The kindergarten licensed capacity includes the use of Kindergarten Room #118H for 12 children
The licensee shall submit written confirmation to the Ministry by May 27, 2016 that full compliance has been achieved on items identified as “in progress” on the Summary of Child Care Centre Licensing Requirements and Recommendations report.

Director's Approval

Director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
Director approval has been granted for children aged 3.8 years of age and up to bring bagged lunches.
