The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents.
The kindergarten and school age program are licensed to operate before - and after - school and full-day on PA days and school holidays.
The kindergarten licensed capacity is based on the use of Rooms 206 and 207, and the alternate space of the gym.
The school age licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 205, and the alternate space of the gym.
The operator shall ensure that fixed playground equipment is not used by children until it is confirmed that the structures meet CSA standards and that all health and safety concerns have been eliminated.
The operator shall ensure that the submitted supervision plan regarding outdoor play is followed.
The operator shall ensure the guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada’s Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The operator shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre’s parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bagged lunch is forgotten.

Director's Approval

Approved for use of an unfenced playground conditional upon the approved Playground Safety Policy being implemented.
Director's approval has been granted for mixed age grouping under s. 55(2) of O. Reg. 262. Mixed age grouping can be implemented in only one group in each age category. 20% of the licensed capacity per age group is as follows: JK / SK (20): 4 children; School Age (30): 6 children.
A bag lunch policy has been approved for children who are eligible to attend elementary school in the current school year.
