The licensee shall ensure that the Licensing Inspection Summary is posted in a conspicuous place in the child care centre at or near an entrance commonly used by parents. The licensee shall ensure that the completed Licensing Checklist and the Summary of Licensing Requirements and Recommendations sheets are readily available for parents. The licensee shall ensure that the total licensed capacity is not exceeded at any time.
The school age program operates after school only.
The infant licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 158 for a group of 10 infants.
The toddler licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 156 for 15 children.
The preschool licensed capacity is based on the use of Room 152- Preschool 1 for 16 children and Room 155-Preschool 2 for 16 children.
School Age Program only: All rooms as set out in the shared space confirmation are approved for use by the child care program, based on licensed capacity, provided that the room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
The School age program may operate full days on non-instructional school days.
School Age Program only: Guidelines and sample menus for preparing bag lunches/snacks which meet Canada’s Food Guide, as well as procedures for refrigeration or the use of ice packs with bag lunches, shall be provided to each parent and posted at the centre. The licensee shall review this information with parents at the time of enrolment and the information shall be included in the centre’s parent handbook. The centre shall ensure back-up procedures are in place if a bag lunch/snack is forgotten.
The licensee is required to keep on file at the premises an up-to-date shared space confirmation. This confirmation must include the primary use of the room during the school day and must be made available to Ministry of Education staff upon request.

Director's Approval

Director’s Approval is granted for mixed age grouping pursuant to ss. 8(2) and (3) of Ontario Regulation 137/15.
School age only: Director approval is granted for the use of specified rooms/areas that may have less than 2.58 square metres of unobstructed floor space for each child in a licensed kindergarten, primary/junior school age and/or junior school age group, based on the licensed capacity, provided that the same room or area is used by the school for children who are the same age as the age category of the licensed age group.
