MAC is a non-profit, high-performance competitive swim club with close to 40 years of community history for swimmers ages 7 and up.
The club is dedicated to providing high standards of coaching to its athletes, and provides opportunities and encouragement for each swimmer to develop his or her full potential in competitive swimming through the pursuit of personal excellence. MAC is a registered member of Swim Ontario and Swimming Canada, and MAC swimmers partake in meets at the local, regional, provincial, national, and international levels.
With over 300 swimmers, MAC has become an integral part of the community, and is proud to foster a 'family' environment by providing opportunities for older swimmers to interact with younger ones as role models, and by hosting family-friendly events for club members.
The Intro to Competitive Swimming program, "Swim2Achieve", is an excellent gateway into MAC's Age Group Development programs, which teach swimmers how to set goals, work hard and smart when training, and develop a sense of personal and team accountability and commitment. The Senior swimmers build on these values through an increased commitment to the program, their teammates, and their personal goals, and strive to compete at National and International levels.

Intro to Competitive program - Swim2Achieve
The program emphasizes instruction in fundamental skills and practice habits, preparing swimmers for continued advancement through the Markham age-group program.
